CO-OWNER & PRINCIPAL AI SCIENTIST

Magnus Sahlgren is one of Europe’s leading AI pioneers. With a PhD in computational linguistics and 20+ years in machine learning and semantics, he has bridged academia and industry to shape the field. As Head of Research at AI Sweden, he led the creation of GPT-SW3, the largest Nordic language model, and was part of Silo AI’s $665M acquisition by AMD. At Pirr, Magnus continues to unite deep science, entrepreneurship, and global impact to advance Europe’s digital sovereignty and the future of generative AI.
